Both the Franklin Cup and the Leggatt Trophy are competed for by Active and Transferee Members in good standing.
Non Playing Members, those on the Waiting List, and visitors from other Societies are very welcome to join us, but they are not eligible for any of the major prizes. Leggatt Trophy Individual Stableford All eligible entrants compete off the handicap applicable to their selected tee markers. Franklin Cup Individual Medal (Gross) To avoid unnecessary slow play, the Committee will determine a maximum qualifying handicap when entries close to limit the field to those who have a reasonable chance of winning the Cup, while ensuring a representative field. Only those eligible entrants with that handicap or lower playing off the White (Club) tee markers will compete. The current indication is that the handicap limit will be 12. (Handicap Index <11) If your handicap on the day is higher than the maximum, you may apply to the Committee for permission to be included in the medal field.This may be granted at the Committee's discretion |
